AIM - Accountability Information Management

The Spokane Police Department believes in transparent and accountable leadership.  The Accountability Information Management, or AIM, report is a monthly document that details the metrics of the department across several layers: unit performance measures, crime trends and response, personnel management, and fiscal spending. These performance metrics are analyzed to determine if there have been changes in performance, and if so, what internal or external factors may have influenced this change. This knowledge can then be used to make informed decisions regarding department business practices. Furthermore, the crime trend and response section of AIM will keep the community apprised not only of up-to-date crime data in Spokane, but also how SPD prioritizes their response. This monthly report illustrates how your Spokane Police Department is working for you.

Weekly Reports

The weekly AIM Wrap-Up is a summary of actions by the Spokane Police Department to address crime and neighborhood issues in Spokane during the previous week.  The department’s Senior Staff along with Crime Analysis meet weekly to discuss both emerging and on-going crime issues so SPD can prioritize response and coordinate resources.  The minutes to these meetings are provided in the weekly wrap-up along with other highlights provided by SPD staff regarding recent activities.  These weekly wrap-ups are included in the monthly AIM reports; however, for the most up-to-date information regarding SPD activity in your neighborhood, the most current weekly wrap-up is accessible here as well.
