Spokane Police Ask Public to ID Armed Robber

Spokane Police Detectives are working to identify a man who robbed Sunset Highway Grocery at knife-point.  The suspect is described as a light-skinned black or Hispanic man wearing a distinctive black and white coat with the letters “L A” on the back.  Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

 

On Friday, February 22, 2013 at 1:20 pm a man entered the Sunset Grocery, located on W. Sunset Highway with a bandana covering the lower half of his face.  He showed the clerk a knife and demanded money.  The suspect exited the store and ran westbound down the alley on the north side of the business. No one was injured in this incident.

 

The suspect is described as a light skinned black or Hispanic male wearing a distinctive, two tone black and white coat with the large black letters “LA”  on the back and blue jeans.
